Gaylord Diocesan Watch was recently cited by another Diocesan organization dedicated to transparency.  This organization, called The Angry Catholic, is based in the Diocese of Scranton, Pennsylvania and led by Paul and Kris Ciaccia.  It is worth noting that they recently offered a reasonable and insightful perspective into the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the now disgraced Fr. Bryan Medlin.  It can be accessed here and a discussion of the Gaylord Diocese starts at about the 18 minute mark.  They highlight the need for better screening and formation of seminarians, among other issues.  This is clearly the case with Fr. Medlin.

Organizations such as The Angry Catholic have the ability to shed light on important and at times uncomfortable issues in the Catholic Church.  We are happy to have found them and wish them the best on their efforts.
